Thank You to Our 2026 Summer Interns: Nate Frederick and Carsten Reese
The River Wealth team was pleased to welcome two summer interns this year: Nate Frederick and Carsten Reese.
Nate is a rising senior at Monmouth University, majoring in Finance with a minor in Information Technology. Carsten is a rising senior at The Ohio State University, majoring in Finance with a minor in Financial Planning.
Nate and Carsten contributed to a variety of initiatives that helped support our team and enhance firm operations, including:
Supporting operational efficiency projects
Enhancing River Wealth's business development efforts
Developing tools and resources to support our client service model and estate planning conversations
Built a standardized, regulator-sourced database for internal research and strategic planning
Reflecting on their experience, both Nate and Carsten shared key takeaways from their time at River Wealth:

"Throughout the summer, I gained valuable insight into the different roles within a financial services firm, including operations, investments, and advisory services. Working on creating an Executor Guide document helped me better understand the importance of estate planning and the impact it can have on clients and their families.
