Get to Know Me Better

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I like understanding the stories of my clients. In order to truly help your client achieve their goals, you need to know how they got to where they are today and where they want to be tomorrow. Sharing in that journey is a privilege.

What do you love most about being part of river wealth advisors?

Clients are unique, and every client's situation is different. There is no off-the-shelf investment package that works for everyone. River Wealth understands that and provides the opportunity for the financial advisor to truly offer a solution that is suitable for each client. That sets River Wealth apart and makes me proud to be part of such an organization.

What are your favorite hobbies?

I enjoy travel, golf, skiing and all racquet sports (tennis, squash, pickleball, platform tennis, ping pong, etc.). I also love spending time with my wife, two sons and dog, Hazel.

what is your favorite book?

"Moneyball" by Michael Lewis. I am a big baseball (Phillies) fan and apart from using baseball as a backdrop, Moneyball is a classic story about having the courage to take a new approach to solving a problem. Great movie too.

what was your first job?

During the summers in high school, I served as an instructor for a tennis camp that encouraged youths of all backgrounds to learn the sport of tennis. The satisfaction on the faces of the kids when they hit a good shot is something I still remember.

what are your bucket list vacation spots?

Hiking the "W Circuit" in Torres del Paine National Park. I would also like to spend time in Japan and Southeast Asia. Italy is my all-time favorite vacation destination and there is much more of the country I would like to explore.

What's the best advice you've ever received?

"Wait to worry." This was my Father's mantra that he repeated over and over during my childhood. He would say that many problems actually solve themselves and for those that don't, if you eliminate the "worry" you can better focus on finding a solution.
